BBB Industries Promotes Chris Garner To Executive Vice President, Sales

BBB Industries, has announced the promotion of automotive industry veteran Christopher D. (“Chris”) Garner as executive vice president – Sales, effective immediately.

Chris will report to John B. (“Trey”) Smart III, BBB Industries’ co-president and chief commercial officer, and will lead the company’s sales team and efforts across all product line categories and regions.

Commenting on the appointment, Trey said: “We are delighted to recognize Chris’ strong track record of leadership and excellent customer service in expanding his responsibilities. We are confident his significant aftermarket industry experience will continue to drive and support our growth platform and our customer’s overall success”.

Chris joined BBB Industries in 2005, in connection with the acquisition of Garner Automotive, where he served as president for over 7 years after holding several key positions during his tenure with the family business. Overall, Chris has over 25 years of experience successfully leading in a variety of areas encompassing the automotive aftermarket parts business.  Chris attended Memphis University prior to beginning his career.

BBB Industries would also like to announce that in conjunction with Chris’ promotion, Glenn Barco’s responsibilities as senior vice president of Sales have been expanded to include oversight of the Central and Western regions for the warehouse distribution segment of our business.  Glenn will report to Chris in his newly expanded role.
