ZF Aftermarket expands sales team

The ZF Aftermarket has added two new sales roles to capitalize on the brand’s portfolio opportunities.

The role of regional manager for the south was given to Richard Odom. He is coming from 26 years of working as the program group and retail business development manager at Mahle. The responsibilities of the position include maintaining current relationships and introducing existing and new customers to ZF Aftermarket brand, as well as nurturing the growing relationships with central buying groups like Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Automotive Distribution Network, and National Pronto Association.

Matthew McCoy will be the new regional manager of the west. He previously worked at Pacific Marketing in the sales department. McCoy’s new job will entail working with distributors and sales representatives to help grow sales.

Both Odom and McCoy will be reporting to Mark Thorpe, ZF Aftermarket director of sales, United States and Canada, the company announced.

“I am confident that Richard and Matthew will be valuable additions to our North American team,” said Thorpe. “Their combined industry experience, knowledge and skill set of how to manage the different customer sectors, as well as familiarity with our global business, aftermarket portfolio and customer base will prove invaluable as we continue the ZF Aftermarket success story across North America.”
