So far this year, Walker Emissions Control has added 236 part numbers. That represents 130 million potential service opportunities through the first 10 months of 2018.
Going forward, Tenneco expects to introduce dozens of additional Walker part numbers in November and more than 200 new catalytic converter, muffler and related part numbers in 2019.
The Walker brand’s year-to-date coverage expansion has included 43 new Walker Ultra EPA-compliant direct-fit catalytic converters, 71 Walker CalCat CARB-compliant converters, 47 Walker Quiet-Flow SS stainless steel mufflers and assemblies and 75 new resonator, pipe and hardware part numbers.
“In addition to our aggressive, ongoing expansion of application coverage, we have invested in new equipment and additional production capacity in our Harrisonburg, Virginia, manufacturing facility,” said Adam Richardson, senior product manager for the Tenneco North America Aftermarket business. “
