Tenneco Announces Ontario Event …

Tenneco Announces Ontario Event Dates

Tenneco has announced some Ontario dates for its Monroe Ride and Drive training tour.
The dates for the Ontario market are May 30th in Barrie, May 31st in Kitchener, June 1st and 5th in Toronto. News on other dates Canadian dates will follow.
The Ontario team has developed a theme of “Don’t Gamble With Your Safety” for the events, featuring poker themed prizes and giveaways including a week-end get away to Niagara Falls as a grand prize for each event.
The Technology Tour will visit 39 major North American cities and is expected to attract more than 8,000 professional technicians for ride control test drives, in-depth diagnostic and sales training, and a preview of innovative new technologies from Tenneco’s global original equipment portfolio.
The Tour team also will provide on-site ride control training for an estimated 5,000 additional technicians through shop visits and distributor-sponsored clinics throughout 2006.
Technicians participating in a Technology Tour event will be able to compare the steering, stopping and stability characteristics of vehicles featuring worn original equipment ride control and brake components and identical models equipped with premium Monroe replacement products.
The Tour’s ASE-certified instructors will then help participants learn how to better communicate the need for ride control and brake replacement to vehicle owners.
Cost of $20 per person to attend.
Events are scheduled for the Barrie Events Centre, May 30, Kitchener Auditorium, May 31, Toronto Centennial College, June 1, and Toronto Downsview Park, June 5.
All events will have 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm sessions.
