Streamlight Expands Automotive Sales Division

StreamlightInc. announced the promotion of Eric A. Pike to director of sales, and the appointment of Mark A. Rowe as national accounts manager, both within the company’s Automotive sales division.
Pike, formerly assistant director of the division, will implement market-focused strategies to bring professional flashlights and lanterns to the automotive service market, as well as hardware retailing customers nationwide. Rowe will oversee the critical relationships between Streamlight and its national distributors in the automotive sector.
“We are pleased to announce these strategic moves in our Automotive division,” said Streamlight vice-president, sales and marketing, Michael Dineen. “Streamlight has a strong market presence in this market, which will now be further strengthened by this highly experienced, knowledgeable sales team. Eric’s extensive product knowledge and automotive experience already have contributed to tremendous sales success in this sector, and Mark has a proven track record of growing national sales.”
In his expanded role, Pike will oversee a team of managers and independent sales agencies to generate product sales. He brings more than 13 years of sales experience to his new role. Before joining Streamlight in 2003, he was national sales manager for Mayhew Steel Products, Inc., a provider of industrial tools and specialty automotive products for automotive, industrial, and hardware customers.
Pike holds a Bachelor’s Degree from North Adams State College. He resides in Bernardston, MA.
Rowe spent the last eight years at American Colorscans, Inc., based in Columbus, OH, where he served as vice-president of sales and marketing, and was a member of the Board of Directors. He was previously vice-president of sales and marketing for AutoStar Productions/Roger Gustin Racing/Workmat, also in Ohio.
Streamlight offers an extensive line of products for automotive professionals, including specialty lights such as the innovative Knucklehead, a rechargeable LED worklight with a 360-degree rotating head, designed for technicians working in challenging environments such as automotive repair service.
