Steffanie Savine, marketing director and account executive for The Marx Group (TMG), was recently elected president of the Automotive Communication Council (ACC).
Savine has been active in ACC for two years and has served on the association’s board since 2014.
Savine joined The Marx Group in 2013, where she became responsible for developing the company’s marketing strategies, recruiting new business and managing accounts. Her 18 years of professional experience include 12 years in the automotive aftermarket.

Savine becomes the third member of The Marx Group staff to serve as ACC president. Tom Marx was president from 2007 to 2008 and Gary McCoy, PR director, filled that role from 2001 to 2002.
Prior to her work with The Marx Group, Savine served as marketing and communications manager for Fras-le North America from 2012 – 2013, where she was responsible for marketing research, strategy and tactical execution. From 2010 to 2012 she served as the company’s marketing and sales coordinator. Savine began her career at Fras-le North America in 2003 as office coordinator, with oversight of bookkeeping, inventory, and HR management.
Savine earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, with a major in public relations, in 2009 from Wayne State University, located in Detroit. Savine earned her Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) designation from The University of the Aftermarket in 2015.
