Quebec-based Spectra Premium has expanded its reach as the company announced that it has published its first new product release geared to the European, Middle Eastern and African markets.
The release puts almost 1,300 cooling system, engine management and fuel delivery products that cover American, European and Asian vehicle applications in Spectra’s new market, which it has been establishing over the last year.
Matt Verger, vice president of business development U.S. and Europe at Spectra, highlighted the fact that his company has grown its presence in Europe recently with a sales office in The Netherlands, a distribution centre in Luxembourg and a European website, all on top of the release of products for the market.
“Our European clients will now be able to expand their product range by incorporating rigorously quality-tested parts designed and engineered in Canada,” he said.
For cooling systems, coverage expanded with 377 complete radiators and 348 condensers. In fuel delivery, coverage now stands at 207 fuel pump assemblies and 57 electric fuel pumps.
Spectra expanded its engine management category with 134 new ignition coils with copper and high-voltage enamel coatings, 41 distributors with cap and rotor, 72 mass air flows and 8 mass air flow sensors with silica gel and ceramic PC boards.
There are now 51 new parts for oil pans made of A380 aluminum and steel threat inserts for the drain plug.
