Snap-on has recently added four new Diagnostic Quick Tips training videos to its website and YouTube channel to help professional technicians speed up their diagnostic capabilities.
“The new Diagnostic Quick Tips videos, based on real case studies, show how to apply diagnostics to specific vehicles and applications through two minute demonstrations of diagnostic tools solving common problems,” said Mark Schaefer, director of marketing, Snap-on Diagnostics.
The videos include:
Ford PATS Key Programming Vehicle: 2007 Ford Taurus
Have you ever needed to program a set of keys to a vehicle? This Diagnostic Quick Tip shows how to program keys using a scan tool.
MINI Battery Relearn

ShopStream Connect – Data Manipulation
Being able to record and analyze scanner data is pretty useful, but how do you look over the data once it’s saved? This Diagnostic Quick Tip shows how to use the free ShopStream Connect software to view data that is stored on a scan tool.
Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Test Vehicle: 2013 Toyota RAV4
Modern air/fuel ratio sensors can be difficult to test and inspect. This Diagnostic Quick Tip shows how to test and inspect an air/fuel sensor using a scan tool.
To find the Quick Tips on the Snap-on website, visit http://diagnositcs.snapon.com/TrainingSolutions and select a diagnostic tool. Once a Quick Tip has been selected, technicians will see which diagnostic tools the tip applies to, read an overview of the problem and then watch the resolution video.
Hosted by Snap-on National Field Trainer, Jason Gabrenas, the complete Quick Tips series is free and available 24/7 so technicians can watch the videos when it is most convenient for them.
