Remanufacturers Announce Merger

American Remanufacturers, Inc., (ARI) Anaheim, Calif., and Car Component Technologies Inc., (CCT) Bedford, N.H., have announced the merging of the two companies, with the new entity operating under the ARI name.
CCT and ARI are automotive remanufacturing and distribution companies supplying undercar parts to the automotive aftermarket.
"This is a merger of two well run companies of almost equal size with excellent management and a strong financial position," stated Robert Smith, new chairman of the board.
ARI will be the surviving entity, with CCT becoming a key operational unit located in Bedford, N.H.
"This combination allows us to better serve our customers and gives us the ability to maintain our leading, low cost remanufacturing and distribution base. We are excited about the opportunities this merger provides," stated Tim Campbell, the president and CEO of the combined company. "Our focus will continue to be centred on our industry-leading product quality, customer service and marketing programs," Tim Campbell stated.
ARI’s corporate office is located in Anaheim, Calif., and includes operating units located in Bedford, N.H., Phoenix, Ariz., Compton, Calif., Cleveland, Ohio, Batesville, Mo., as well as a Canadian operation in Guelph, Ont.
The company’s products include remanufactured CV drive axles, disc brake calipers, power steering pumps, gears & racks and power brake boosters. ARI also distributes new clutch kits and a full line of new brake components, which includes ARI’s Road Proven premium brake pads, manufactured in the company’s Guelph, Ontario, Canada facility.
