Raybestos Brakes Help Kyle Busch…

Raybestos Brakes Help Kyle Busch Clinch A Chase Berth

After Kyle Busch took the lead he sped on to victory like he didn’t have a care in the world at the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Busch scored his fourth win of the season and drove his No. 18 M&M’s Toyota to victory lane under the stopping power of Raybestos brakes.

Busch grabbed the top spot during the 288th lap, beating Ryan Newman and Joey Logano off pit road. “Our crew was amazing on pit road all night long, but I think we saved our best work for the end,” said crew chief, Dave Rogers. An amazing stop under caution vaulted Busch from third to first for a restart with just 36 laps to go. “At the restart of the 21st lap, the 56 car gave us a big challenge, but Kyle held the spot.” The race stayed green to the finish and Busch kept his M&Ms Camry out front to lock in his spot for the Chase.

The Raybestos Racing brake package, used by NASCAR teams like Joe Gibbs Racing, combines ample stopping power with a considerable weight savings advantage on short tracks like the Atlanta Motor Speedway’s 1.54-Mile Quad Oval Superspeedway.

Raybestos racing brake pads are high-friction, high-torque racing pads. The Raybestos “ST” series racing compounds provide superior stopping power for championship-caliber race teams.

Raybestos Racing calipers make up the strongest and lightest caliper package currently available in all of NASCAR. They have an optimized structure caliper architecture design and a mono-block aluminum alloy construction. They also include integral crossover cooling and progressively sized titanium pistons.

Raybestos Racing two-piece rotors are engineered to withstand the high-heat torture of short tracks and road courses; delivering the effective lightweight operation required for qualifying and superspeedway runs. Features include an S-groove slot design, a racing-specific vane configuration and optimized metallurgy.
