Prolong Announces Key Sales and Marketing Appointments

Prolong International Corporation, parent of Prolong Super Lubricants, Inc., has announced two key appointments to its sales and marketing teams.
D. Kent Stickley has been appointed vice president, sales. He was previously director of sales for Prolong and has been responsible for sales of the company’s products to the majority of the largest retailers in the automotive aftermarket. Prior to joining Prolong, Mr. Stickley served as vice president, sales and marketing for Midas International where he was responsible for parts sales to 2,000 Midas franchised stores. He also has over 15 years experience in retail merchandising and operations having served at an executive level at Pep Boys, NAPA, Nationwise Auto Parts and Chief Auto Parts.
Lawrence R. Kahn has been appointed as vice-president, marketing. Kahn has 18 years of marketing experience within the automotive aftermarket. He joined Armor All Products Corporation in 1985 and served as vice president, new product development and vice president, marketing. He subsequently joined Prolong in 1997 as vice president and general manager of the Appearance Chemicals Division and then served as vice president, marketing for the Lubricants Division. Kahn has rejoined the Prolong team after co-founding and serving as president of Focus Sales & Marketing, LLC, an independent marketing consulting company for the past three years.
