Wireless kit for scan tool

Snap-on has released a wireless scan module conversion kit (EAK0294B21A) that allows customers to add “wireless freedom and keyless simplicity” to their VERUS Diagnostic & Information System.

According to Mark Schaefer, director of marketing, Snap-on Diagnostics, with the Snap-on wireless scan module conversion kit, VERUS owners will have the ability to connect to scanner functions from anywhere in the shop.

He said the kit will offer technicians new capabilities, like watching live sensor data while spinning a wheel, or running a bidirectional test while moving freely around the vehicle.

The keyless scan module covers all OBD-II applications with a single adapter, no need to switch keys.

It also allows you to scan wirelessly with remote control of the scan module, read and clear codes, view live data and run functional tests, relearns and adaptations from anywhere in the bay

The wireless scan module conversion kit includes OBD-II data cable, data cable for adapters, USB cable and instructions.
