New OTC Genisys EVO Features European Software Release

OTC says its new Genisys EVO 2010 European Software Update Kit features expanded global vehicle coverage and a host of new special tests to offer technicians a significant improvement on model years covered by supported manufacturers, and enhanced actuation and adjustment capabilities.

In addition to adding new vehicle coverage through 2010, OTC has also worked backwards to add additional bidirectional and service adjustment tests for all model years that Genisys supports.

"Two separate software kits are now available to help best meet your shop’s needs and get you up to speed for servicing European vehicles," said Ed Lipscomb, senior product manager of Diagnostic Systems, SPX Service Solutions. "The 2010 European Software Update Kit is for technicians who already have a previous version of Genisys European Software, while the 2010 European Starter Kit , with European specific adapters, will get new European software users up and running in no time."

Part numbers for the new kits are P/N 3421-128; and P/N 3421-129.

The focus of this European release was on significantly improving the actuation (bidirectional tests) and service adjustment tests coverage for all years and also on improving the coverage on previous years as well as updating the system support to model year 2010. Below is a sample of the vehicle models and systems covered in the new USA European 2010 release. More models and systems may be available.
