Phillips Industries has added two territory sales managers, one in Canada and one in the U.S.
Brent Griffin has joined the Phillips Canadian sales team as a territory sales manager covering Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Andy Summers is the new territory sales manager covering the Northeastern U.S. Both have extensive experience in commercial vehicle components sales.
Griffin comes to his new position at Phillips from the Spartan Agency where he was a district manager representing Phillips products throughout Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northwest Ontario. His experience with Spartan and his extensive product knowledge offers Phillips customers in his territory a seamless transition with a knowledgeable representative. Griffin has continued to update his technical skills through on-going industry training, making him a valuable resource to commercial vehicle operators.
Summers joins Phillips Industries with ten years experience selling in the commercial vehicle industry. Most recently he was territory manager for Penn Commercial Vehicle Solutions, selling parts and service to heavy-duty truck and trailer customers in Pennsylvania. Summers is a member of the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association and a graduate of Penn State University, Harrisburg.
“Our customers in the U.S. and Canada will be supported by highly qualified people representing Phillips products. Both Andy and Brent understand the business they are in and the challenges the industry experiences from time to time,” commented Randy Walker, director-North America aftermarket sales. “We are pleased both gentlemen have joined our team.”
