Permatex names new VP and GM

Lee Burtelson

Lee Burtelson has been named the new vice president and general manager for engine repair in the automotive aftermarket group at Permatex.

Burtelson was previously vice president of strategic marketing for the ITW fluids platform. He’s been with ITW since 2015 and was previously with Honeywell and TT Electronics.

He will be taking over from Andy Robinson who retired after 20 years with the company, including playing a key role when ITW acquired Permatex in 2005, the company said in an announcement. He had been in the VPGM position since 2008. He also led the acquisitions of Spray Nine, Slime and Car Care.

Dan Clarke

“While Andy will be greatly missed, he has built a solid team that will carry on the Permatex tradition of great operations and continuous product innovation,” said Mark Severin, group president of the automotive aftermarket arm of ITW.

Dan Clarke was also promoted to sales director for the U.S. traditional aftermarket. He’s been with Permatex since 2015, serving as senior project manager before the promotion.
