Penray brings in new line of cleaners

Tough Max is Penray’s new line of multi-purpose cleaning products for auto service pros.

The line is effective to not only clean all of the unusual substances technicians see on a daily basis, but more.

Penray showed off the new line at AAPEX in Las Vegas, which kicked off at the end of October. It comes in two variations for techs and do-it-yourselfers.

The degreasing wipes help clean tools and parts, as well as dirty hands. It can clean grease, tar and ink and can be used on leather and vinyl. They work without water and come in a citrus scent. The wipes are solvent-free, require no rinsing and don’t leave a residue.

The multi-purpose cleaner is a stronger concentration formula when additional cleaning power is needed in commercial and industrial jobs. The purple compound cleans grease, oil and other stubborn stains. It can be used on just about any non-porous or semi-porous surface, be it floors, walls, porcelain, aluminum, wood, vinyl and leather, on top of machinery and tools. It can remove tar, dirt, ink, wet paint, more lubricants, adhesives and some scuff marks. Penray says it is non-corrosive, so pitting and discolouration won’t happen when it is used on aluminum surfaces.

The liquid concentrate comes in a 32-ounce trigger spray bottle, but it’s also available in bulk quantities, such as five and 10-gallon pails and a 55-gallon drum.

“There are other cleaning and degreasing products on the market, but none are as versatile and user-friendly as our new family of Tough Max cleaners,” notes William Nonnamaker, senior vice president of sales at Penray. “We have been working to develop product solutions that are effective on a wide variety of substances and surfaces, while also being non-abrasive.”
