Ontario automotive forum to include trade show

The Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada will hold its annual Ontario Automotive Service Providers Forum at the International Centre in Toronto on March 27.

AIA is describing this fifth annual one-day event as a chance for shop owners and managers to learn from their peers and aftermarket leaders.

Speakers will tackle a range of topics, including recruiting, training, marketing, customer management and retention, and succession planning.

This year, organizers have added a trade show component, where the latest equipment and shop management programs will be on display.

The forum will include presentations from successful shop owners.

Other speakers will include leading automotive analyst Charles Seguin, tech expert James Shields, and CFL legend Michael (Pinball) Clemens.

Jason Kerr, the AIA’s manager of policy and communications, will discuss the Canadian Automotive Service Information Standard (CASIS);

You can learn more about the forum at the AIA website.
