Non-Profit Group to Sell Tire Monitoring in B.C.

SmarTire Systems Inc. has announced that the British Columbia Safety Council (BCSC) will act as a reseller of its advanced tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
The British Columbia Safety Council is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to reducing injuries and accidents. BCSC will market the SmarTire for Motorcycles product to its students in order to raise the awareness and to promote the importance of correct tire pressure for motorcycle safety. Since its inception, the BCSC has trained over 40,000 new riders.
The BCSC will also sell and promote the entire family of SmarTire products for buses, RVs, commercial vehicles and automobiles as part of its various fleet and corporate driver training courses. “At the BCSC, we are very aware of the critical importance of maintaining proper tire pressure regardless of the vehicle you are driving,” says Ian Thomas, manager Road Safety & Traffic Education Services at the BCSC. “This is even more important when you are riding a motorcycle as the margin for error is smaller and even a few psi can make a difference.
