Spectra’s high-performance radiator

Spectra Premium announced what it calls a technical innovation with its new radiator. The NSCR100 is designed for high performance and will be tested by race car driver Jean-François Dumoulin at the end of March.

It is fully aluminum, uses heavy gauge tubes and it oil cooler is incorporated into the radiator tank to reduce weight. Its design means no special tools are necessary as anchor points allow for faster removal. The radiator vent has been relocated to avoid damages in case of a light frontal incident.
