Extra Guard spin-on oil filters

Fram has introduced its upgrade on their Extra Guard Spin-on Oil Filters. The features include a silicone anti-drainback valve that can be used for all manufacturers’ recommended change intervals. The valve also remains flexible longer than nitrile which provides more protection when starting up an engine and it gives protection against dry starts. The product is made from a blend of fibers and resin so that the filter can capture 95 per cent of dirt particles that are greater than 20 microns.
