Raybestos says its new Element3 brake pads with Enhanced Hybrid Technology (EHT) have been subjected to one million miles of testing and are backed by a two-year trouble free performance guarantee.

Element3 brake pads tested for unsurpassed performance across a range of problematic brake tendencies, including: high pitch noise, low end groan, high energy braking, high coefficient of friction requirements, heavy duty requirements and high wear.

The validation test plan included the following dynamometer tests: SAE J2784-Performance, Link CA (Conformity Assessment) Report Format to FMVSS 135, USCT (US City Traffic) Dyno-Noise/Wear-Link, ISO26867-Performance-Link, LASD Link-Performance/Wear, BPI HR055-Performance/Wear, BPI V70-Performance and BPI V130-Performance/Wear/Noise. In addition, the one million miles of real world testing were performed on domestic, foreign nameplate, police fleet and municipal fleet vehicles equipped with Element3 brake pads.
