Federal-Mogul’s Moog steering and suspension team has introduced a Problem Solver upper ball joint that enables vehicle service providers to eliminate unnecessary replacement of complete control arm assemblies on thousands of Cadillac STS and SRX models.
Available for 2005-2007 Cadillac STS and 2004-2007 Cadillac SRX models, part #K500065 is available as a separate component that can be easily pressed into the vehicle’s original control arm. The original equipment-design ball joint can only be purchased as part of a complete control arm/spring mount assembly, adding cost to the repair.
The Moog K500065 upper ball joint features a premium resin-plated housing that helps prevent galvanic corrosion when paired with the vehicle’s aluminum control arm. Its greasable design and premium boot help ensure longer component life.
“Consumers are looking for the best value in every vehicle repair. The Moog engineering team has developed an exclusive problem-solving solution that helps cut the cost of the job while delivering a high-quality, long-lasting repair,” said Mark Boyle, director, steering and suspension products, Federal-Mogul.
