New Appointments Announced at Grote Industries

Grote Industries announced the recent appointments of Jim Braun as chief financial officer and John Grote as vice president of sales and marketing. 
Braun’s history with the company began in the mid 80s, when he accepted a position as manager of general accounting. After serving as controller, continuous improvement coordinator, vice president of manufacturing and executive vice president of fleet/OE business, Braun was moved into the position of vice president of corporate strategic planning and development.
John Grote joined the family-owned business in 1999 as brand manager and held positions as marketing manager and aftermarket sales and marketing director. In 2005, Grote was tapped to lead the company’s efforts in establishing a European office and became the first managing director, Grote Industries Europe.
Bob Shively has also joined Grote Industries in the capacity of U.S. sales manager, Grote Electrical Connections and Accessories division. With over 31 years of sales and sales management experience, Bob has held a variety of positions including territory and regional sales management with Belden Wire & Cable as well as Exide Speed Clip Electrical Accessories and most recently as regional national aftermarket sales with Phillips Industries. Bob will report to Mr. Eric Morris at Grote Industries Markham, Ontario location.
