Rocco Neglia has joined the staff of the Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada to lead business development efforts for the Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP).
Neglia has over 30 years of experience in the property and casualty Insurance industry. For the past 13 years, he has held the position of vice president of claims for Economical Insurance. He was active in the insurance industry and has served on various committees of the Insurance Bureau of Canada.
He has also served as chairman of the Conestoga chapter of the Insurance Institute of Ontario and governor of the Insurance Institute of Canada.
“We are very confident that Mr. Neglia will deliver further growth for CCIAP,” said AIA president Jean-François Champagne. “He is a strong addition and we welcome him to our team. I am convinced that his strong insurance industry knowledge, broad expertise, and network will make him and the program extremely successful.”
The Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program was launched in October 2016 as a not-for-profit, Canadian program verifying the highest standards of repair capability. Collision repair facilities accredited through the program can declare to their customers, their insurance partners, and the public that they meet the most rigorous requirements for modern vehicle repair.
“I am thrilled to join the AIA Canada team,” said Neglia. “I look forward to the new opportunities and growth that I can bring to the program and to AIA Canada’s stakeholders.”
