Motorists get incentive to change brakes, shocks, struts

Tenneco Inc. is giving motorists an extra incentive to have work done on their vehicles.
Consumers who “Summerize” their rides with the purchase of new Monroe Brakes will get a $24.99 oil-change mail-in rebate.
Owners of light trucks and SUVs who purchase Monroe shocks and struts will get a $30 mail-in rebate through the “Summer Truck Shock Sale” promotion.
The “Summerize Your Ride” promotion on Monroe Brakes runs from July 1 through August 31, 2012. To participate, consumers must purchase one set of qualifying Monroe Ceramics or Monroe Dynamics brake pads and an oil change at the same location. The mail-in rebate certificate, valid within 60 days of the purchase of qualifying brake pads, will reimburse consumers for an oil change service of up to $24.99.

The Summer Truck Shock Sale runs from July 1 through July 31. To qualify for the $30 mail-in rebate check, consumers must purchase two qualifying Monroe or Rancho light truck shocks and two qualifying Monroe or Rancho light truck struts. Consumers who purchase four sets of Monroe or Rancho qualifying light truck shocks will be eligible to receive a $20 mail-in rebate check.
Monroe and Rancho shocks and struts are covered by Tenneco’s exclusive Safe & Sound Guarantee 90-day Trial Offer.
