Mitchell 1 adds new feature to software

Mitchell 1 has added a new plate-to-VIN vehicle selector feature to its ProDemand software.

The feature allows customers to receive accurate vehicle descriptions for technicians and service writers. The feature works by the technician entering the license plate number of the vehicle and ProDemand will convert it to the VIN registered to that plate. The technician can then find OEM colour wiring diagrams, descriptions, specifications, testing steps and procedures for the vehicle and more.

“Making decisions based on inaccurate VIN information can cost auto repair shops money.
