Industry veteran Tony Kuczynski has been named the new president of the Mister Transmission (International) Ltd.

Kuczynski, who has held leadership positions with a number of aftermarket companies, including Canadian Tire Corporation and Carquest Canada, will work with the Mister Transmission executive team as they focus on growth and development for the Canadian chain of more than 65 franchised transmission repair shops.

Mister Transmission CEO Randy Moore said he is thrilled that Kuczynski has accepted the new challenge to help lead the company.

“(The company is) continuing to build a strong team at the head office level to position Mister Transmission for continued growth and development in the years ahead,” he said. “Part of the development strategy is the appointment of a new president to lead us in our journey forward.”

He said Kuczynski’s extensive experience in the automotive industry, which began with his certification as a red seal mechanic and evolved to progressively senior roles, will serve Mister Transmission well as it continues to develop its and franchisee network.
