Meguiar’s has partnered with Car Throttle, one of the largest media companies for social car enthusiasts, to create a video series on proper car care.
The series of four videos focus on the biggest myths of car maintenance, and offers tips and solutions to many issues that car owners and enthusiasts face.
Topics, which include things like “Washing my car with dish soap is perfectly fine” and “All waxes are the same” fall into four categories: Car Washing, Paint Correction, Paint Protection, and Wheel Cleaning.
The videos also include useful tips for car owners on proper car care techniques in each category and provide in-depth explanations on the differences between different car care products.
“We find that there are a lot of myths out there about proper car care especially with younger car enthusiasts,” said RJ de Vera, global customer engagement leader at Meguiar’s. “We’re hoping to debunk many of those myths with Car Throttle who have a huge and heavily engaged audience of car fans on various social platforms.”
Car Throttle has over 13 million followers and 300 million monthly video views.

The video series is being released weekly on Car Throttle’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
