Mahle Aftermarket expanded its product line and introduced 150 new part numbers, including 77 new gasket numbers. The new items are for a variety of gaskets, pistons, piston rings, filters, valves engine bearings and turbochargers. These are available in light and heavy duty applications.

New part numbers, the company announced, are available for a number of product categories, including: valve cover gasket sets, cylinder head gaskets, timing cover gasket sets, water pump gaskets, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, oil pan gasket sets, turbocharger gaskets, throttle body gaskets, EGR valve gaskets, pistons and piston rings, camshafts, intake and exhaust valves, turbochargers, oil and air filters, individual and main bearing sets, and connecting rod bearings.

“Mahle Aftermarket continues to expand its complete line of parts for light vehicle and heavy duty applications, especially in Mahle Original gaskets,” said Jon Douglas, general manager at Mahle Aftermarket North America. “The MAHLE Original name represents a commitment to original equipment quality, and that’s what our customers expect.”

The Mahle Original name comes after the company announced at AAPEX 2016 in Las Vegas that it would be the name for its gasket line. These were previously sold under the Victor Reinz brand.

The company also announced in the fall that it was launching the “Drive with the Original” promotion. The grand prize winner will get a custom-built, twin-turbocharged Mahle Mustang. The winner will be announced this coming fall at AAPEX.
