Link to Bilingual Ordering and Management…

Link to Bilingual Ordering and Management Software Developed for NAPA Users

Carrus Technologies of Longueuil, Que., has announced it has completed the development of direct links from its collision, glass, and mechanical repair software into the NAPA e-catalogue.
Carrus, and subsidiary of Mediagrif Interactive Technologies Inc., integrated a direct link from its AutoWay, GlassWay, and CollisionWay software into the NAPA e-catalogue to allow customers to access the NAPA PROLink web site for Internet ordering.
The development provides users of the NAPA interfaces with a fully bilingual ordering tool that will significantly increase efficiency.”
“With this direct link, installers using one of the Carrus software can access directly the NAPA e-catalogue through a single search engine, connect via the web, access our NAPA stores inventories, get their own custom pricing and transmit their part orders,” states a release from NAPA Canada.
The distribution network says that it offers all the advantages that NAPA PROLink provides in addition to generating purchase orders and estimates from within the management software using NAPA product information, enables installers to update their inventory data from the NAPA integration; schedule jobs according to stock availability and generate work orders and invoices with the accurate information picked from the NAPA integration.
Using the system, service providers can know their cost and gross profit before ordering a part, and quote accordingly, says the company.
“This integration is a great example of how Carrus was able to apply its many years of industry expertise in conjunction with a partner’s specific needs to create a solution that benefits installers from coast to coast.” added Michel Ttrault, President of Carrus. “The benefits that both NAPA and the installers receive by using this new link will both increase efficiency and save time in an industry where both these issues are key to success.”
