WIX Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands, announced at AAPEX an extensive lineup of sales promotions for 2014 designed to increase customer sales, raise brand awareness and connect customers with experiences involving their love for racing and the WIX brand.
Promotion highlights include the WIX Filter Sale Day promotion, Team WIX Racing sponsorship, the popular WIX Hummer H2 mobile marketing unit and year-long social media sweepstakes.

WIX promotions are supported by materials that detail each promotion for participating auto parts stores and distributors, including in-store posters and point-of-sale materials to help promote the programs and news releases to publicize the promotions in order to generate additional purchases and brand awareness.

WIX Filter Sale Day Promotion – From March 1 to April 30, the Sale Day promotion helps increase auto part store sales by driving in-store customer visits. WIX will provide customers with the ability to print customized Sale Day materials for these promotions and offer special pricing.
WIX AG/Fleet Discount Promotion – As the leader in heavy duty filtration, WIX has more than 3,500 heavy duty part numbers. In 2014, WIX will increase the discount opportunities on select agriculture and fleet filters for distributors – a continuation of WIX’s long-time support for customers selling and maintaining their fleets with WIX heavy duty filters.
Mobile Marketing Unit – Customers can request the WIX Hummer H2 at on-site events in 2014. An interactive learning experience on four wheels, the WIX H2 features bold graphics, a fold-down filter display and audio and visual elements. The popular mobile marketing unit is tracking to eclipse the half-million mile mark since its inception in 2004.
Team WIX Racing – In an effort to support the dreams of race teams, while building product awareness with world’s most brand loyal customers, Team WIX racing crews can receive a significant rebate on the purchase of WIX racing products, as well as free team gear. WIX Box Top Program – WIX will continue its popular box top program in 2014, enabling distributors to increase awareness of the WIX brand, drive sales of WIX products and build customer loyalty – all while giving customers the opportunity to earn a variety of WIX-branded apparel and gift cards.
WIX/FFA Box Top Promotion – In support of local chapters of the National FFA Organization, WIX will donate 25 cents to local FFA chapters for every WIX box top that chapters redeem in March and April 2014. WIX also will award the four chapters that return the most box tops with a $1,000 bonus and provide an additional $1,000 to the chapter that has the largest box top submittal percentage increase compared to last year’s promotion.
WIX Hat, Apparel and Merchandise Catalogs – The WIX merchandise catalog offers an extensive assortment of apparel and promotional items that provides distributors with an array of WIX-branded items designed to increase awareness of the WIX brand

WIX Institute of Filtration Technology – The WIX Institute of Filtration Technology is three days of intensive, specialized training, involving filter construction, system functions and performance dynamics. WIX Filters eLearning Center – The eLearning Center offers convenient online courses on light duty and heavy duty filtration. Participants earning 70 percent or better on course-ending quizzes will earn the title of Certified Filtration Specialist. Throughout the process students can earn several certificates that will distinguish them as a provider of excellent filtration knowledge and customer service.
