A/C Sealant Detection Kit

Neutronics Refrigerant Analysis, a manufacturer of automotive A/C service technology, has released the QuickDetect A/C Sealant Detection Kit to help service providers check for the presence of sealant in mobile A/C systems. If the sealant is not detected beforehand, it can potentially damage the shop’s refrigerant identifiers and refrigerant recovery equipment. The QuickDetect kit includes an A/C coupler, hose, test cartridge, and flow meter, and works on a very basic principle. When connected to the A/C system, it is designed to mimic a refrigerant leak. If sealant is present in the system, it will quickly solidify in the test cartridge and cause the flow meter to show “no flow.” The kit works with both R-134A and R-12 systems and comes with: 10 test cartridges, R-134A and R-12 couplers, a test hose, flow meter, syringe, and detailed instructions, in a custom moulded carrying case. Limited Edition Toolboxes

Matco Tools is now offering limited-edition Rat Fink graphic toolboxes. The Matco 5s Series boxes debuted in May and are available through August 2008. The newest limited-edition toolboxes from Matco display the famed artwork of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth. The special Rat Fink graphics package is available on four Matco toolbox models. The 5225RX and 5228RX are both double-bay toolboxes, while the 5325RX and 5328RX are triple-bay toolbox options. Honda Ridgeline Tonneau Cover
