Xtreme exhaust for Corvette

Corsa Performance has developed the Xtreme exhaust system for 2005-2007 Corvettes. The Corvette C6 Xtreme Axle-Back exhaust with four Pro-Series 3.5-inch tips features Corsa’s Reflective Sound Cancellation technology, which allows for a more full-bodied sound during acceleration while providing a comfortable interior note at cruising speeds. Complete installation hardware and an illustrated installation guide is included.

Rust-dissolving freeze penetrant

After a successful launch in the U.S. CRC Canada has announced the release of CRC Freeze Off to the Canadian automotive aftermarket. CRC Freeze Off offers a new solution to those rusted and corroded fasteners. CRC Freeze-Off is a unique penetrant that uses freeze shock action to freeze, penetrate, and loosen rusted and corroded mechanisms. This unique formula immediately drops the temperature of the area in direct contact with the spray. The freezing effect cracks rusted surfaces, allowing Freeze-Off to reach deeper and work more effectively than other penetrants. The product is designed for use in automotive, industrial, marine, heavy duty, or household applications where other penetrants cannot perform.

Cordless screwdriver kit

Mac Tools has introduced the 10.8V cordless lithium-ion screwdriver kit, CDB108K. This composite body screwdriver is made to be compact and comes with a removable 10.8V lithium-ion battery. The screwdriver features a forward and reverse switch, LED work light, and a variable speed trigger for better control and versatility. The screwdriver can provide up to 90 in-lbs. of torque output and has a 10-position clutch.

Digital air inflator

K-Tool International (KTI) has added a dual-chuck digital air inflator for the passenger and heavy-duty vehicle market. The digital air inflator comes with an LCD display for accurate tire pressure readings, an ergonomic grip and a two-position inflate/deflate lever. It also comes with an anti-oil rubber protective casing and die-cast body.

Kit for damaged O2 sensor port threads

Alcoa Fastening Systems (AFS) offers the Fix-A-Thread oxygen sensor thread repair kit. The kit comes with an installation tool and high-temperature Inconel inserts, in addition to the necessary equipment for repairing damaged oxygen sensor port threads in the exhaust manifold.

GE Automotive has released its GE Nighthawk Miniature Lighting for the aftermarket. The lights are made to provide a 20 percent brighter light and come in 13 SKUs in the most popular interior and exterior vehicle applications. Seventeen more SKUs will be added next year.

CRC Canada Co. announces the long-awaited Canadian launch of CRC Di-Electric Grease. Applications abound for this new product: electrical connections, circuit breakers, contacts, spark plug boots, trailer connectors, HEI distributors, battery terminals, lubrication of plastic, rubber parts and o-rings, etc. Application is simple, accurate and efficient with the patented finger-actuated delivery system. This unique, non-curing compound is used for sealing, protecting and electrical insulating.
