Vehicle-Specific Tuning & Advanced Engineering Drive Every Rancho Shock Absorber

Globally recognized as the first nine-position, manually adjustable ride

control series in the off-road market, the Rancho RS9000XL shock series

delivers nine different levels of performance to on- and off-road trucks, SUVs and

Jeeps. The RS9000XL application-specific shock design counteracts the extra

unsprung mass inherent in larger tire and wheel combinations. This series also is

ideal for towing applications and more. In 2014, Overland Journal awarded the

Rancho RS9000XL its “Editor’s Choice” award.*

“The Rancho brand has a unique market position – our products are

developed and sold on a global scale with a rich heritage of OE relationships and

research and design at a grassroots level,” said Chris Gauss, director,

performance products, Tenneco. “As we continue to launch new RS9000XL,

RS7000MT and RS5000X applications, we’re continuing our commitment to

developing application-specific products and designs that are completely ride

tested and validated before entering the marketplace.”

Rancho RS7000MT monotube shocks feature high controls for reduced

roll and sway and are extremely resilient and highly effective in the dissipation of

heat, providing truck, SUV and Jeep owners with a shock absorber ideal for

extreme off-road use and larger wheel and tire packages. Each RS7000MT

shock includes application-specific deflective disc valving that automatically

senses and responds to any suspension input or change in terrain to provide

more control and a more precisely matched ride. Due to relationships with

OEMs, RS7000MT series units feature advanced 10-stage velocity sensing

valving that is precisely tuned to each application.

Manufactured in North America and Australia, Rancho application-specific

RS5000X series shocks feature X-Cross Tuned Technology to provide

significantly improved on- and off-road performance. The shocks also include

Progressive Engagement Valving, a patented design that utilizes progressive

rebound and compression discs, helping to control harsh impacts and helping to

better control fluid movement for a more-precise ride profile. Each RS5000X

series shock is application engineered.

The Rancho brand carries an industry leading Performance Guarantee

and 90-day risk-free ride offer that lets enthusiasts try RS9000XL, RS7000MT or

Rancho RS5000X shocks for any truck or SUV for 90 days. Consumers can

return their shocks within 90 days for a full refund of the product’s purchase

price. For a complete list of applications covered by the warranty, please visit
