US Motor Works Joins AASA Fuel Pump Manufacturers Council

US Motor Works LLC, Santa Fe Springs, Calif., has joined the Fuel Pump Manufacturers Council (FPMC) of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA).

US Motor Works is a manufacturer of electric fuel pumps, water pumps, cooling parts and fan clutches.

US Motor Works joined the AASA Fuel Pump Manufacturers Council to work with the automotive aftermarket’s fuel pump suppliers to educate the industry on proper diagnostics of fuel systems and fuel pumps with the goal of minimizing the amount of non-legitimate fuel pump warranty returns.

“We look forward to the opportunity to work with the current FPMC members to help resolve or reduce the problem of non-legitimate defective returns,” said Russell Shockley, director, business development, US Motor Works. “The key is information, education and the correct tools to address the problem,” he added.

The AASA Fuel Pump Manufacturers Council provides information to repair professionals and jobber stores on diagnostic and repair procedures and proper hazardous material handling procedures. Its Web site, www.fuelpumpinfo.org, serves as an industry resource for more information.
