Toyo Launches New Sizes in North America

Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation has announced the availability of 41 new sizes of passenger car and light truck tires in a broad range of applications.
New sizes are available in several of the Toyo product lines including: Proxes (high performance and racing for passenger car and light truck) and Open Country (light truck and SUV).
The new sizes include OE fitments as well as plus sizing for custom wheel/tire applications. The new sizes apply to either matched-sizing or to a single end of a vehicle which requires a stagger fitment.
The 305/30ZR20 Proxes T1R is a brand new size to the industry and currently exclusive to Toyo. This is a cutting-edge rear plus-size that was previously limited to only prototype (concept car) applications; the size has never gone into actual production by any manufacturer until now, said Robert Waytashek, consumer products manager, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation.
Another new size for the light truck category is the LT305/60R20 Open Country A/T.
This E ply rated tire opens a new realm of possibilities for plus fitments on vehicles such as the Ford F250 Super Duty and the Hummer H3.
