The Young Executive Society Conference To Feature Neil Pasricha

#aftermarket – The Young Executive Society  (YES) is holding its conference on March 31st at the Toronto Congress Centre, 650 Dixon Road.

John Vanstone of Modern Sales Co-op will speak to attendees about what it takes to be a great leader in the automotive aftermarket industry. With forty years of industry experience, John has held multiple leadership roles while maintaining active industry involvement. Don’t miss John share his wealth of experience and insights on how to be a successful leader in the automotive industry.

The guest speaker is  Neil Pasricha, NYT Bestselling  authour of The Book of Awesome and the beloved blog, 1000 Awesome Things

Neil Pasricha is a self-described “average guy” who works a cubicle job in the suburbs, eats frozen burritos for dinner, and needs to go to the gym more. But Neil has also started something a lot more average… after he graduated from Queen’s University and Harvard Business School, during a tough time in his life, Neil started a blog called 1000 Awesome Things. The blog took off and has now reached over 50 million people and won Webby awards for “Best Blog in the World” over the past two years. Neil is also the author of three bestselling books, including “The Book of Awesome,” which has spent two straight years as a #1 bestseller, has been translated into dozens of languages and been optioned for a movie. Neil has appeared on The Today Show, The Early Show, CNN, BBC, The New Yorker, and The Sunday Times. His TED Talk has gone viral, and he has spoken to Harvard Deans, Royal Families in the Middle East and tens of thousands of others around the world.

Pasricha has successfully merged his skills at identifying simple pleasures and moments that matter with his sharp leadership research and senior executive consulting background. He provides the four “S’s” to being awesome at work that can be implemented at no cost to our daily routines, to re-align values and re-invigorate passion. In his energetic and memorable keynote, referencing years creating development programs for Fortune 50 companies, he shares a richly-developed set of work values—Social, Structure, Stimulation, and Story— to help you work better, happier, and more productively.

AIA will also have an industry mentor at this event – TBD.
