Goodyear Canada’s Engineered Products Division–specifically the Canadian team of people dedicated to automotive and truck aftermarket products including belts, belt tensioners, hose and air springs–today announced the launch of a full-scale marketing communications initiative for Canadian installers, distributors and consumers.
“Goodyear is the official licensed belt and hose of NASCAR. Our objective is to leverage years of NASCAR testing and development by promoting these race-proven products to automotive and truck installers and technicians,” said Guy Enta, national sales manager, Goodyear Canada’s Engineered Products Division. “Our company, now in its 93rd year of operations in Canada, is stepping up our communications in order for Goodyear to become the #1 choice for installers and consumers for automotive and truck aftermarket belts, belt tensioners, hose and air springs.
“We will continue to promote Gatorback v-belts and have added new sizes to the lineup. We have also introduced a new online buyer’s guide through our website at www.goodyearbeltsandhose.com, new incentive programs for installers and increased communications on our national warranty program. Additionally, we have strengthened our resources in each market region. As well as adding new v-belts to Goodyear’s product line, we have also expanded our belt tensioner offering and introduced a new CD-ROM support program for our air springs,” said Enta.
“In response to a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive market, Goodyear Canada is taking steps to further grow its automotive and truck aftermarket products business. We have some very exciting initiatives in place for this year and plan to announce more significant news in the near future.”
