Tenneco Sending Technicians Back to School

Tenneco Automotive is sending 17 Expert Plus members to a two-day racing school.
The 17 technicians will spend two days honing their formula-car driving skills at the Auto Sport Basi Racing School in Laval, Que., through TA’s Canadian “Race to the Finish” promotion.
“Race to the Finish” was a five-month promotion exclusive to Canadian Expert Plus members and their technicians. Each participant submitted at least one completed “Race to the Finish” gameboard representing 22 installations of qualifying Monroe ride control products and/or Walker or DynoMax exhaust components. Entrants also were asked to complete a special Tenneco Automotive exhaust and ride control crossword puzzle. Thousands of qualified entries were received from across Canada prior to the July 30 drawing.
“‘Race to the Finish’ was a great way to reward Expert Plus members for their skills and knowledge related to the world’s best ride control and exhaust products,” said Sheryl Bomia, North American Aftermarket programs manager for Tenneco Automotive. “Now we’ll get to see our winners take their driving skills to the next level at one of the world’s most respected driving schools.”
The Auto Sport Basi Racing School (formerly Jim Russell Racing School) offers two full days of instruction in advanced driving (street cars) and introductory racing (Formula 1600 Van Diemen race cars) at the Autodrome St. Eustache. Racing instruction includes several individual timed events on the track.
