Take a Seat

The Interior Systems Division of Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. announced today their plans to unveil the new National Seating High Performance Seat at the 2006 Las Vegas Trade Show held from June 15 to 17, 2006.
The HP Seat, located at show booth numbers 2122/2124, includes a wider seat cushion, more distance between armrests, and an innovative base that provides improved road isolation and reduces natural frequency for a more comfortable ride.
“Our research and development team continues to design state-of-the-art seating that is not only functional, but addresses the fit, comfort, and ergonomic needs of drivers throughout the world,” said Ken Bush, vice president and general manager of CVG’s Interior Systems Division.
After the initial unveiling at the Las Vegas Truck Show, the seat will be displayed throughout the Southeast as part of The American Traveling Truck Show, and at the Great American Truck Show in Dallas, Texas. The seats will continue to be on tour via various open houses at selected distribution centres through October 2006.
ISD produces suspension seat systems, interior trim systems such as instrument and door panels, headliners, cabinetry and floor systems and large injection molded parts for the global commercial vehicle market. ISD companies include Cabarrus Plastics, National Seating, and Trim Systems.
