Jobber News and Service Station & Garage Management magazines have announced the Synthetic Oil Mythbusters Contest, presented by Castrol.
“With the lengthening of oil change service intervals and the related rise in synthetic motor oil usage, it is more important than ever for the automotive aftermarket professionals in Canada to be educated on the facts,” says Jobber News publisher and editor Andrew Ross.
It is quite surprising, he adds, that even after so many years there are some myths that persist about synthetic oils, when you can use them, what happens when you stop, and other persistent misinformation.
“While it is certainly true that those who have taken the time to understand the product category will know the answers to the quiz on each contest form, it’s always healthy to be reminded of important information. And, thanks to the participation of Wakefield Canada, we’ve made it fun, too.”
Wakefield Canada, distributors of Castrol products in Canada is providing a prize pack each month to the winner drawn by Jobber News and SSGM.
The contest quiz form and entry details appear in each issue of Jobber News and SSGM, beginning with the March issue. The contest is open to members of the trade in Canada only.
