Synthetic Motor Oil is Out of this World

Pennzoil has launched Pennzoil Synthetic, a new line of fully synthetic motor oils formulated with Pennzane, as well as a new line of synthetic blend motor oil products, and will be using a cinematic Mars shot as part of its marketing plan. The connection between space exploration and Pennzoil Synthetic with Pennzane will be shown to audiences in the Touchstone Pictures film “Mission to Mars,” which portrays a manned mission to the planet Mars. Pennzane X2000, a synthesized hydrocarbon fluid, was developed for the demanding conditions of the space program and has been used by NASA since 1989. Point-of-sale materials and the silver-gray packaging of the product will play up the space-program and movie connection.
