Long time automotive executive and Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) senior staff member, Nate Shelton, is now Save the World Inc.’s (SWA) new vice president of sales and marketing.
Shelton has almost 30-years in various executive management positions in the automotive industry. He has held positions with companies that design, manufacture and market high performance auto products.
"I am delighted to accept this new role with SWA and I look forward to the challenge associated with this position," says Shelton.
Most recently he was chief executive officer for S&S Sales and Marketing and for 14-years was President and chief marketing officer for K&N Engineering.
"My initial focus as vice president of sales and marketing will be to cultivate these potential opportunities and establish marketing agreements and worldwide distribution channels for SWA’s technology," says Shelton.
Mr. Shelton held many senior level positions with SEMA and was on the association’s board of directors and from 2001-2003 he served as chairman of SEMA.
Save the World Air Inc. was established to develop, manufacture and market devices using proprietary technologies that can be installed on motor vehicles and are designed to reduce harmful emissions, improve fuel efficiency or improve performance.
"Based on the company’s recently announced development of, and patent application filings for emissions reduction devices designed not only for carbureted engines, but for multiport fuel injection engines and small horsepower motors I believe that SWA is well positioned to attract the attention of automobile manufacturers who are presently endeavoring to cope with the challenges of emission reduction laws," says Shelton.
