#aftermarket – The ACX1280 is part of Mahle Service Solutions line of ArcticPRO A/C service equipment. Redesigned in late 2014, MAHLE focused on the goal of delivering a high-performance, long-lasting, and industry leading product that creates a satisfying user experience.
Toward that goal, the new design places users in optimal ergonomic working conditions. Additionally, the section between the front and rear main housing parts was modified to provide users with free access to internal components without needing to open the device. This allows technicians to quickly and easily perform routine maintenance and service tasks such as filter-driers and oil changes enabling maximum uptime and faster service support.
Since Mahle Service Solutions introduced the ACX1280 late last year, it has received positive customer feedback for its fully automatic features that make for easy, time-saving, and precise service for air conditioning systems in vehicles that use R1234yf refrigerant.
In addition, the company was honored for a “Best Use of Technology” new product award at the 2015 Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide Trade Show. The award was selected by an impartial panel of automotive press members.
The machine is distinguished from its competitors with the option to purchase it with either an internal or external refrigerant identifier system. Other U.S. competitors only offer an internal identifier. Several global automotive OEM’s have chosen to equip their dealerships with the ACX1280 as an essential service tool.
