Ross-Tech Announces New Diagnostics Tool

Mr. Uwe Ross, owner of Ross-Tech, LLC and principal developer of VAG-COM, has announced the release of VAG-COM version 704.
This release continues the 7 year development of the product by adding 11 new features along with updating the product database to operate with the latest 2007 electronic modules in the VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda lines of automobiles.
Mr. Ross stated, “This release adds a number of features that will help our professional technicians repair vehicles faster.
“The Service Reminder Reset feature is one which technicians have asked us to develop.
“When a technician needs to reset the reminders, at present, he must go into many modules to perform the function. This takes his time. Now, he can just perform the function with a click of a button.”
Among the other features to assist the technicians are guided readiness scripts, optical data bus diagnostics, a battery coding assistant, and enhanced measuring blocks.
To improve on the ease of use of VAG-COM, this release adds automatic program updates, an enhanced program installer, new USB drivers, a new updated control module address list, updated compatibility with newest modules and updated label files.
VAG-COM is the aftermarket diagnostic tool which provides dealer level diagnostic capability at the price of a generic scan tool.
