The Sainte-Gravelle team from Quebec has won the NAPA Rally 5000, edging out teams from Atlantic Canada and the Prairies.
Sainte-Gravelle triumphed with a points total of 4625 points, ahead of the Smoking Turbots with 4180 and the Prairie Dogs, with 4050. Teams competed in a series of on road and mechanical challenges to earn points in the eight day competition.
The five pairs of automotive technicians from across Canada competed for $20,000 in prizes, putting their mechanical know-how to the test.
This year’s rally featured an all-new route riddled with more exciting, more riveting, and more mechanical challenges, according to the organizers. Forcing teams to get their hands dirty, the challenges were designed to put their mechanical skills to the test.
