Online registration for the Automotive Service Association’s (ASA) 2009 Annual Convention is now available by visiting www.ASAshop.org/Annual09. The convention will be held April 30th to May 2nd at the Caribe Royale All-Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Attendees may use the secure online form to register for a variety of activities, including three Automotive Management Institute (AMI)-approved seminars, as well as arrange housing accommodations for the event.
“Plan to come early and stay late,” said Reggie Denney, AAM, ASA chairman and owner of Reggie Denney Auto Repair in Eden, N.C. “In addition to all that Orlando has to offer, the camaraderie of your fellow shop owners and managers in these challenging economic times will provide business solutions to help you stay successful.”
Event highlights will include informative Industry Impact sessions focusing on the automotive service and collision repair segments of the industry; a benefit provider networking reception; an ASA board of directors meeting; a State of the Association address by Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive; an affiliate assembly meeting; three AMI courses; and ASA’s annual Celebration of Excellence awards ceremony, which will again feature the AMI graduation ceremony.
Members who register before the early-bird deadline of March 31st will enjoy significant savings. In addition to providing a secure, convenient registration option, the Web site also includes a list of sponsors, education sessions, daily agendas and additional details about networking functions.
