Aftermarket veteran Paul Anthony Durkin passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Southlake Regional Hospital with his loving wife Roberta by his side.
Most recently working with the Sea Foam Company, Paul had a long history in Canada’s aftermarket.
His most extended tenure was with Uni-Select where he was general manager of the Ontario Division for 15 years before being appointed GM of the Northern Division of Uni-Select USA in 2000. In all he spent some 45 years in the aftermarket.
His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his children, Stephen (Leslie), David (Siria) and Nicole (Dave) as well as his grandchildren, Robert, Finley and Addison. He will be sadly missed by his brother Jack (Carole) and was predeceased by his brother Patrick (Deanna).
The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Avenue), from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2nd. A mass will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Thursday, December 3rd at 9:30 a.m., followed by a reception at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home. The passing of Paul Durkin is sad indeed. I personally had the pleasure of dealing with Paul at a business level on many occasions. He was by far one of the most professional, honest and courteous persons I have ever met. What a great man, what a great person.
