Castrol Canada has announced three recent appointments: Kent Rennie, consumer business unit director for Castrol Canada has recently been given added responsibility for the North East United States. Rennie is responsible for all sales and marketing activity for wholesale and installer business. His mandate is to improve overall market share within the North Eastern United States, and plans to achieve this by reviewing successful Canadian programs and adopting them for use in the United States. Kristine Brown has been appointed key accounts manager for Canada. Kristine has been with Castrol for two years, starting in March of 1998 as a territory sales manager for Metro Toronto. Kristine has worked in the automotive aftermarket for the past six years and has held positions in both marketing and sales capacities. As key accounts manager Kristine will be responsible for national accounts of the traditional installed businesses, which include OEMs. Jay LeFrancois has been appointed territory sales manager for the Greater Toronto Area. LeFrancois brings with him over ten years of experience in sales and operational management within the petroleum industry. His primary responsibilities are to work closely with wholesale distributors, automotive jobbers and installers to maintain Castrol’s current customer base while seeking new opportunities in the marketplace.
