Activant Solutions Inc., a provider of business management solutions for the automotive aftermarket, is offering a variety of incentives to automotive parts distributors and jobbers who upgrade the computer hardware running their Activant Prism distribution management systems.
For a limited time, users of the Activant Prism solution can receive a special incentive package when they replace outdated servers with qualifying new Dell technology.
Replacing legacy hardware helps protect a business’s investment in software and other distribution management solutions by reducing the chances of system breakdowns and enabling the use of the latest software tools and functionality.
By replacing outdated servers, users of the Activant Prism solution also can run a broad range of reports, process purchase orders and perform end-of-period procedures faster and more efficiently.
In addition to the use of the Activant Cover-to-Cover module – which features millions of product images, technical service bulletins and other enhanced content – the new servers’ increased memory and processing speed enable distributors and stores to access Active Updates mid-month eCatalog data downloads.
“Our commitment to our customers’ success includes helping them stay in step with systems technologies,” said Tom Aliotti, vice president and general manager of the Activant Automotive business.
“This program is designed to give business owners immediate payback of a portion of their investment through attractive, money-saving incentives while helping them enhance their competitiveness.
Founded in 1972, Activant provides customers with tailored proprietary software, professional services, content, supply chain connectivity, and analytics.
More than 30,000 customer locations use an Activant solution to manage their day-to-day operations.
